Course Descriptions and Enrollment
Denver Spanish Network offers a variety of study options in all levels, from beginner to advanced, and all forms from private tutoring to group lessons. Once you are enrolled in a course, you can attend multiple classes each week and/or move freely between the levels as your needs change.
Level 1
Standard Program | Weekly 90 minute Classes | Free Textbook
This course covers Unit 1 of the Denver Spanish Network textbook.
Topics include basic conversation such as common greetings, pronunciation and alphabet, articles, subject pronouns, and the verb ser. Cognates are introduced as a stepping stone to vocabulary and conversation building. At the end of this course, students will be able to introduce themselves, have a basic conversation including where they are from, their careers and basic emotions, and describe people and things in a conversational setting.
Our Immersion Track Plan includes up to 100 hours a month of adult Spanish classes, conversational groups, office hours, vocabulary building classes, and immersive experiences such as Spanish-only dinners, game nights, show/movie/book club discussion groups, bootcamps, cooking classes and workshops at all of our Denver Spanish Network locations. Take as many classes and immersion experiences as you like!
Recommended for students who have never taken a Spanish course in the past.

Level 2
Standard Program | Weekly 90 minute Classes | Free Textbook
This course covers Unit 2 of the Denver Spanish Network textbook.
Topics include colors, numbers, possessive adjectives, the verb estar, when to use the verbs ser and estar, times and dates, and describing people. At the end of this course, students will be able to identify and speak about professions, times and dates, origins, relations, emotions, locations and conditions in a conversational setting.
Our Immersion Track Plan includes up to 100 hours a month of adult Spanish classes, conversational groups, office hours, vocabulary building classes, and immersive experiences such as Spanish-only dinners, game nights, show/movie/book club discussion groups, bootcamps, cooking classes and workshops at all of our Denver Spanish Network locations. This course covers Unit 3 of the Denver Spanish Network textbook. Topics include regular -AR, -ER and -IR verbs, The verb Tener, Interrogatives and Prepositions in a conversational setting.

This course covers Unit 4 of the Denver Spanish Network textbook. Topics include the future tense, the verb Ir, Stem changing verbs, the verb Gustar and similar verbs, and indirect object pronouns.
