Ongoing opportunity with Denver Public Library: Do you love reading and children? Are you interested in making an impact in your own community? The Read Aloud Program at the Denver Public Library is seeking volunteers to read to preschool classrooms starting this September.

Here are the three main requirements:

- Dedicate 20-30 minutes weekly for approximately 14 weeks to read in Spanish or English with a Denver preschool classroom.

- Successfully pass a background check (applicants must be 18 years or older).

- Value and respect young children as learners.

Having served our community for over 30 years, last semester alone, we read in over 200 classrooms weekly, that's more than 4,000 children. Volunteers don´t need prior storytime experience, and all necessary materials and training will be provided by the Denver Public Library.

If interested, please find more details and the application
